A little about me

Hey, I’m Judah. I was born in Kathmandu, Nepal, grew up in India where my parents planted a church, and now I’m in Calgary pursuing my studies while exploring film, photography, and design.

I love making films that lean experimental. Shorts, music videos, commercials but what matters most to me are stories about people and the lives they live. With photography, I’m especially drawn to portraits and documentary work.

Most of my work starts simple: a camera, a laptop, and an idea. No generative AI tricks, unless it’s to kick a photobomber out of a wedding shot (then maybe, haha).

Outside of creating, you’ll probably find me watching movies, volunteering at church, listening to people’s stories, bouldering with friends, or hiking in the Rockies. And honestly, I can’t help being a little performative artsy boi. Aren’t we all?
